After getting the sink line and speed spot for the 12-footer I was preparing to sink, an enormous gust of wind pushed against my chest, throwing me off balance. I was indecisive about whether to putt or to back off the shot. All of this happened in a split second.
Well, I backed 
off the shot, the wind settled down a bit, and then putted without conferring with Putting Angel Pete. Don’t ya know, my ball went completely straight and missed three inches to the right of the hole. I then realized that if I putted when the wind was blasting, my ball may have been pushed to the left three inches and found the bottom of the cup.
The angels have this whole thing calculated precisely. A head scratcher for sure!
